Consisting of two orange containers of 3m X 5m X 2.4m which have 3m distance between them, LOST? is a kind of field office located in Marronnier Art Center of the Korean Culture and Arts Foundation. Because they have shutter doors, they make a space like a tunnel when those all four doors are opened. This office provides a place where those who are related to the construction(exhibition) can relieve their thirst(with refreshers offered) and have talks. Here, we will be able to consider what we will lose and abandon and what it is to trade in a true sense, putting the conclusions into practice.
LOST? represents the place as the life of artists, the reality of artists. The participating artists are out in the field. It is only after they practically meet people that the project is embodied. Therefore, what is matter is not the finished work of art itself but the very place where creation is actually occurring. As one of ordinary people, we will not require appreciation but will encourage spontaneous, help people foresee the failure of private appreciation on the part of viewers, lead them to experience constant deviations from the planned program be giving accident shocks. LOST? is at once the place where experimentations of art and society are conducted and the structure of montage which inquires the stream of sensations.

각각 3m X 5m X 2.4m 크기의 두 개의 컨테이너가 3m의 공간을 사이에 두고 마주하는 모습으로써 오렌지 형광색으로 칠해진 LOST?는 문예진흥원 마로니에미술관(현, 아르코 미술관) 건물입구의 좌측정면에 들어서 있는 일종의 현장사무실이다. 양 측면 문들은 셔터로 처리되어서 총 4개의 문들을 다 열어두면 일종의 터널과 같은 공간을 형성하게 된다. 이 현장사무실에서는 공사(전시)와 관련된 사람들이 갈증을 해소하고 이야기를 나눌 수 있는 자리가 마련되고(간단한 음료제공), 이 공간에서는 우리가 무엇을 잃게 되는지, 무엇을 포기하는지, 무엇이 진정한 거래인지 등을 생각하고 실천하기로 한다.
LOST?는 작가의 삶, 작가가 처한 현실로서 공간을 드러내며, 작가가 현장에 나가 있으며, 이곳에서의 프로그램은 이들과 대중이 실질적으로 만남으로써 현실화된다. 따라서 만들어진 작품보다는 만들어지는 공간으로 우선시되며, 시민의 한 사람으로서 전시가 아닌 행동을 통해 감상을 요구받지 않고 자발적 움직임을 이끌어내며 참여하도록 한다. 이 간이공간은 모든 성공에 대한 기대를 좌절시키며 관람객으로서 개인적 감상의 실패를 예견할 수 있도록 도와주며, 우연한 충격을 자극함으로써 계획된 프로그램으로부터 끊임없이 탈락하는 경험을 도모한다. LOST?는 예술과 사회를 실험하는 공간이자 감각의 흐름을 질문하는 몽타주의 구조물이다.
